Dealing with Fred and his team has been a delight. They are, by far, the best contractors I’ve ever worked with,. Communication was always fast, I always felt my interest and satisfaction were the utmost of importance to them.

I was in a bind. I needed to get a major repair on my outside stair landing in just a few days before closing (or I’m screwed). Steel Penn squeezed me into their schedule and did the work expeditiously with no issues. The job came out fine. Thanks to Penn Steel. PS I have at least two more jobs which I am likely to assign them.

Steel Penn Contracting was the perfect choice for the variety of home improvement projects that was required on my home. The owner, Fred White came out right away, reviewing everything I needed repaired and gave me a variety of options to meet my budget. He earned my business and once hired, Steel Penn’s courteous and knowledgeable tradesmen did a great job on repairing my deck. They replaced boards, power washed and re-stained my deck and now my 30 year old desk looks brand new. They also replaced two storm doors and power washed the entire house. They were meticulous about working neatly and cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend Steel Penn to anyone seeking a quality contractor that they can trust with any project.

This is the first time I worked with Steel Penn and had an excellent experience with them. Fred (the owner) called me within a few hours of leaving him a message and he arrived when he said he would arrive to review the project. He proposed various options to repair the front porch, along with time and cost estimates. I had many questions about the project and Fred and his team answered all of my questions the same day I asked them. They were flexible and used text, email, and phone to communicate often and answer questions. When it came time for the job to start Fred’s crew arrived on time, were super friendly, and finished the job in exactly the amount of time Fred had quoted. The construction crew was friendly, professional, answered questions, and kept the work site neat and tidy. When the job was completed they cleaned up the porch and front walkway area. The front porch came out better than I had envisioned and all along the way Fred also offered design ideas and suggestions based on his experience to make it look even better. In my experience it is very difficult to find good and reliable home contractors. Steel Penn is now going to be my “go to” compay for all my projects first. Completely exceeded my expectations and looking forward to working with Steel Penn on some other items. Highly Recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed them working at our house. They did power washing and stained our deck. They did a fantastic job on everything. I would use them again.
