I had contacted Fred in the past for skylight repair and replacement. His guys did great work, all done in one afternoon. Cleaned up the whole house afterwards and didn’t leave a single piece of garbage behind. Even when I saw that one small area was lifting up 2 days later he sent another crew out and resealed the entire kit twice over again. 2 months later and the windows are doing great but part of my siding peeled back on another side of my house due to high winds. I called and emailed the office at 4am before going up and simply putting a few nails in to hold things steady for the time being. Fred came by amidst his busy schedule, repaired the area in question even though they technically don’t service those areas and then wouldn’t even accept payment for his time. He gave me info of a reputable gutter repair team to have it replaced long term. This group goes above and beyond every chance they can get. I recommend them both for the quality of the work but even more because of the hospitality of how they run the business. Look forward to doing more renovations on the house with them in the future.

They did an excellent job and delivered everything they promised. President of company visited site every day his men were there to ensure quality. He even followed up on permits and inspections. Communication was superior throughout the job by President and administrative person. Honest and dependable. The best communication between any contractor ever!

Steel Penn did a fantastic job removing an old rotten fence including a gate and installing the brand new section along with new gates for a fraction of the cost I received estimates about. They were on time and didn’t stop working until the job was done, even working into the night. They surprisingly completed everything in one day and cleaned up all the left over materials once the job was finished. I would definitely use them again.

The workers treated our 30 year old shed repair with as much attention to detail as any indoor remodel we have ever had. The building looks close to new. The whole Steel Penn experience was outstanding. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Fred and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. We had multiple projects including a new deck, major repairs to the front porch, and cleaning and sealing the basement floor. They exceeded our expectations with all of these projects. The communication between Fred/Amber and us was tremendous. We will certainly use them again when our next home improvement project comes along.

Steel Penn is a very reliable company in the sense they do what they say they are going to do. Their communication with us was excellent. You always know where you are in the process of the project. They took also care of filing the permits on a timely fashion (trust me, not all contractors do it) . The work was done on a timely fashion; the quality of the work was very good. They even did the extra miles when I ask for an additional railing to fit the hands of children. They say they will do it and sure enough, it was done to my full satisfaction. I would highly recommend working with them as you can be sure that the work will be done, according to the spec’s , on the budget and on a timely fashion. It is the fourth time I do business with them and again, it is always a pleasure to deal with them.
