Steel Penn completed a variety of projects for me, including replacing all interior doors, repairing “cracks and nail pops” and painting the ceiling of my great room, and finally rebuilt, cleaned and stained my deck, bringing it up to current building codes. Fred and his team were always friendly, hard working and professional. All of the projects were done efficiently and to my satisfaction. Actually, I questioned some areas of the staining on my deck, and Fred gladly sent one of his staff to touch up those areas immediately! Great company! I would recommend them. Barbara B.

Steel Penn Contracting did an excellent job repairing ceilings and installing a new window along with painting and new moldings in our place of business. Their response time was great. They were very neat and the carpenters are excellent. We will be using them again.

The company owner had our best interest in mind, they could have completed the project in 2 days but he was willing to hold off and wait for the good weather to set in before finishing which in turn made the project and finishing touches beautiful. Recently my deck and retaining wall was in need of serious repair. Fortunately, I found Steel Penn Contracting on Home Advisor. Not only did the give me the best price but their work was fast and precise. Fred’s continuous communication on the project and attention to detail was truly appreciated. In general, I have had a few doubts about the credibility of internet reviews. However, the experience with Penn Steel cleared any and all doubts I had. They were responsive, prompt, and their work was thorough. I definitely would hire them again!

From the initial contact with Fred White, to the execution of the project, things went “smooth as silk”. Excellent job, hard/conscientious workers, with enormous attention to detail. The gentleman performing the work came back on Saturday of a holiday weekend to complete the work due to bad weather on Friday. Highly commendable.
